Rosa Julia Collazo, 69

On February 6th, 1955, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, a beautiful baby girl was born to late Monserate Collazo and Rafaela Maldenado Rivera. She was named Rosa Julia Collazo, She was the second of twelve children. Rosa affectionately called “Juli” by her family and friends, She accepted Christ.
Juli graduated from Ponce High School in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She was a very caring and loving person.
In her later years, Juli married Angel David Picart of Ponce, Puerto Rico. She was known as the Cd lady she had all the latest hits. Her amazing spirit was welcomed. Juli had a firecracker personality and spoke her mind. She was a very loving wife and mother, very loyal to her family and was a hard worker. She loved going to the casinos, enjoyed dancing and going to clubs.
It was Friday, January 17,2025 when the Lord called his angel home. At 69 years old, Juli lived to see four generations before entering eternal rest at her residence in Willow Street with family by her side. Our love and memories of her will remain forever.
Juli was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Ramon and Roberto Collazo.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories addition to her husband: Wanda Rodriguez and Samuel Lugo, both of Lancaster; her eight grandchildren: Edwin Ortiz Jr., Venecia Lopez, Ivelisse Lopez, Moises Lopez, Sigberto Lopez, Jr., Stephanie Lugo, Samuel Lugo, and Hennessey Lugo; her 18 great grandchildren: Mayaliz Ortiz, Edwin Ortiz, Messiah Ortiz, Genesis Ortiz, Noah Ortiz, Jerimyah Williams, Kimani Williams, Moszell Williams Jr., Dynasty Lopez, Amere Williams, Jaydallisse Cuebas, Wandalisse Ramos, Yarilisse Ramos, Isaac Ramos, Armani Lopez, Miracle Lopez, Jazlyne Lopez, and Leilany Lopez. She was also survived by her sibings: Nelson, Candido, Antonio and Lourdes Collazo, host of nieces, nephews, close relatives, and friends.
Friends are invited to the viewing on Friday, January 24, 2025from 12:30-2PM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA, with the Funeral Service to follow at 2PM. Interment in Mellingers Mennonite Cemetery
