Rose M. Rineer, 103, of Lancaster, passed away November 22, 2024. Born February 28, 1921, to the late Martin and Elizabeth Speece, Rose lived a full life. She was married to the late Richard L. Rineer Sr., who predeceased her in 1983.
Rose spent her career as a cook and loved to cook outside of work, especially her Sunday dinners and Holiday get togethers. She cherished family gatherings.

Firm in her beliefs and tastes, Rose balanced her strong will with a generous heart, always listening with care and offering her support to those she loved.
Rose is survived by five generations of her family, including her daughter Nancy Gable, wife of Walter, and her son Richard L. Rineer Jr., husband of Penny. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard, her parents, and her siblings Dorothy, Miriam, June, Robert, Charles, and Bertha.

Dear Dick, Penny and all of Rose’s family,
Pam and I want to express our heart felt condolences on Rose’s passing. We have so many great memories of your mom and dad from our younger years. Rose always made our entire group of friends feel at home in her kitchen and there was always plenty of good food and lively discussion when she was around! I’m sure she’s with your dad now and getting things organized in heaven.
All our best to you and yours.
