Ruth Taylor Little, 82
September 21, 2017
Ruth Taylor Little, 82 of Manheim, went to heaven to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on September 21, 2017. She was the wife of Dan Little with whom she enjoyed 56 years of marriage. Surviving in addition to her husband Dan are three children: Marti Little of Lansdowne; Debbi Miller, wife of David Miller, Lancaster; and David Little, Lititz; and four grandchildren: Caleb Miller, husband of Molly (Thompson) Miller, Mechanicsburg; Seth Miller, Philadelphia; Naomi Miller, Bladensburg, MD; and Esther Miller, Suchitoto, El Salvador. Ruth was born in Camden, NJ on November 12, 1934 to the late George and Mathilde Taylor and was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur of Conroe, Texas and Paul of Doylestown. Ruth taught elementary school for 29 years including her final 11 years at Manheim Central. After retirement, she volunteered with Manheim’s Weekly Religious Education program and with Good News Clubs in Lancaster. Ruth lived an exemplary and integrity-filled life, one that was balanced by a unique combination of both great conviction and great love. She loved traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and attending Grace Baptist Church of Lancaster. Ruth’s greatest desire was sharing the good news of Jesus’ forgiveness of sins and His redemption to eternal life.
There will be a time for visitation with the family at Grace Baptist Church, 1899 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17603 beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 30.
