Dr. Musser…

What a shock when i saw the paper on Saterday morning. I Was selfishly worring about a grade on a final and you were dealing far more difficult circumstances. My heart aches for your family. We can’t possable understand why God allows this to happen, but we know for sure that she is one His very special angels. Just know that your family will be in my prayers for a long time. Words can never truly ease your pain but know that others share in your sorrow. With deepest sympathy…

Samantha was one of my closet friends. We did everything together. I knew her since I was in elementary school. I always made her laugh. She helped me through the hard times I had. I will miss her very much. I hope God is keeping her safe. I will never forget her.

Dear Musser Family:

My heart goes out to you in your sudden loss of your dear daughter and sister, Sam.  Alyson, I remember making gingerbread houses at the Poppelwells and it touched me to see your tenderness and love for Sam as you helped her. Alyson, David and Elizabeth, I too lost a brother at the age of 14 very suddenly, so I know your pain so well. May you look to God for strength and he will sustain you.  Your precious memories of Sam will be of comfort in time. After the raw grief subsides, you will one day be able to laugh and share funny stories of the good times you had with your sister.  Know too that I am praying for you.

Eileen Fisher
(A friend of Maria Poppelwell)

My son, Tommy bowled with Sammie and I remember the sweet, gentle personality of your angelic Samantha. She always had a smile and while I didn’t know her well, she was somebody you just couldn’t forget and someone you looked forward to seeing. May God give all of you peace and understanding.

Our hearts and thoughts are with you. As you wonder through the sadness and tears do not forget to celebrate Samantha’s life. Our families have been apart for several years but it was obvious then, as it is now from reading other families words that Sammie Lived, Loved and Celebrated her life each and every day.

Dave & MaryBeth

I was so sad to hear of the loss of your daughter.  I don’t think there are any words that can possibly capture the pain you both must be feeling and certainly there can be no sense made of such a loss.   Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with both of you and with your family as well.  I pray that God delivers some measure of comfort to you as you struggle to find some peace.

With great sadness and sympathy,

Dave, Marybeth and Family,

It has been many years since we have last seen each other and I never had the pleasure of knowing your daughter, Samantha, but it is clear by the messages and tributes that others wrote how special she was.  My heart and prayers goes out to you and your family.  I hope that over time you will find a way to get past the sorrow that you all must be feeling and find ways to celebrate your daughters beautiful life.

God bless,

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Sammie. Sammie was a ray of sunshine, and a true joy to know. I met Sammie at Camp Chameleon where I have been a part of the staff since 2001. Her sunny personality is what I will remember for always. Memories of Sammie climbing the rock wall, fishing and just enjoying life will live on in my heart forever. I, too, lost a child so I truly know what you are feeling and how your heart is breaking now. You will be in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.

Lori and Matt McGowan

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I know how much Sammy was loved by so many people.

Dianne Lobasso

I am greatly saddened by the death of Samantha. Everytime I saw her in the hallways she had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. She will never be forgotten in my heart. "Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even though they die. and whoever lives and believes in me will never die . . .’" John 11:25-26 TNIV. Samantha Rose is now in Heaven with the Lord.

With all due respect,

Courtney Scheingraber

Dear Musser Family,

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Samantha. I was subbing in the district on Friday when one of the teachers read the email of the news aloud. My heart just ached. I have so many fond memories of Sammie from Neff Elementary. She had a smile that brightened everyone’s day. My husband remembers Sammie from times he volunteered in the classroom, and he too, says he had a special place in his heart for Sammie. She certainly touched the lives of everyone she knew in a very special way, and she will not be forgotten. We will continue to keep your family in our thoughts and prayers. May God grant you the peace, comfort, and strength to endure this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Lisa, Sean, and Jada Loughry

Dear Mary Beth,

I wish to extend my condolences to you and your family. I swam with you so may years ago and then our paths crossed again several years ago when you were Kathy McBride’s guest for tennis at LCC. I most recently had the pleasure of meeting your daughter at Manheim Township Middle School as an employee of IU 13 observing in Samantha’s class. She was a special young lady and I enjoyed talking with her.

Sincerely,

Lynn Peters

Dear Samantha, I have had some rough times this year. I just recently lost a friend in March and I wish you were here to stop the situation. I wish you could tell her it was the wrong thing to do to stop our friendship if we were good friends for 3 years. I miss you, love you,and think about you all the time.
Your best friend forever in life,
Jacqueline
