Our deepest condolences to the Messina Family. I loved running into Sammy at the local stores. He always had a warm smile and hug for me. I will always remember the Messina family and the old neighborhood.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. I will miss Sam so much, As a child I would love to sit and watch him make his lures, he was so proud of each and every one of them, when he would come home with coolers full of fish and filet them and I could not wait for him to start cooking them up for I knew I was going to eat good. I would stop by and visit over the years and we would just sit and talk about everything, I will miss him dearly as I know all of you will also. He was a kind and gentle soul.
Stefany (Valentine) Snyder.
Uncle Sam will be greatly missed. I have so many memories of him as a child. He used to stop in at Nanny’s ( his sister Mary Sinopoli) and she would just light up when he walked through the door. I will miss you Uncle Sam
