Sharon L. Clark, 77
May 06, 2024
Sharon L. Clark, 77, of Columbia, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Penn State Lancaster Hospital.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Walter B. and Esther M. (Campbell) Fulmer. She was the wife of the late Charles H. Clark and they were married for 45 years before his passing.
For over two decades, Sharon dedicated herself to Kellogg’s where she retired from. Sharon was a cherished soul whose vibrant light illuminated the lives of all who knew her. Family and animals held equal places in her heart, coming together to create the fabric of her existence. Among Sharon’s most cherished moments were those spent in communion with nature. Whether following the travels of the Budweiser Clydesdales or basking in the outdoors, she found beauty in the world around her. Her love for the sea drew her to the shores of Cape May where she found peace. She loved spending her time watching the Duluth Canal cam, awaiting the arrival of ships as they came and went. Sharon was a devoted supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She once served as Shamu the clown, bringing joy and laughter to countless children. Sharon’s infectious spirit was evident to all who knew her. She exuded warmth. To know her was to experience a love like no other. She lived each day fully and embraced every moment with grace and gratitude.
Sharon is survived by her daughters, Charlotte (Robert) Ney and LaShunda Clark; her sister, Susan Rintz; her nephew, Marc (Tiffany) Rintz and their daughter; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services for Sharon will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sharon Clark Animal Fund. Checks can be made payable to LaShunda Clark and mailed to Fulton Bank, Mountville Branch, 305 Highland Dr., Mountville, PA 17554.

My deepest condolences to Sharon’s family. I had the pleasure of working with Sharon in HR at Kellogg’s. She was the kindest and most caring person I’ve ever met. I liked how she got so excited to watch the Kentucky Derby every year. She was definitely a bright light and such a joy to work with. You’ll be missed Sharon.

“With deepest sympathy to all – as you remember Sharon.” I am so sorry for your loss of such a loving and giving woman.. My thoughts are with all of her family and anyone who was blessed enough to know her. Sharon was the kindest person to everyone and every living thing she met. I remember her love for whales, dolphins, horses, dogs and all animals. Sharon had pictures of beautiful animals around her office. I loved to chat with her in the morning when I arrived at work. I have missed this ever since she retired. She always spoke so lovingly about her family, pets and friends. Heaven is now a better place with her arrival. May God grant you all comfort and peace at this difficult time. RIP Sharon.

I was fortunate to have worked with Sharon for many years at Kellogg’s in the HR department. Sharon was such a kind soul, always saw the best in everyone, and was probably the kindest person I have ever met. I’ll never forget her “Bullshit Buddy” stories, that’s the closest to swearing as Sharon ever got! You’ll be missed Sharon and I count myself fortunate to have known you.

Sharon was absolutely the kindest and sweetest person I’ve ever known. She and I worked together for years. She worked for me as a supervisor and she was such a joy to be around. Her love of animals and her family was most important to her. Her office was decorated with so many pictures of her animals and family! The world was a better place because of Sharon. She will always hold a special place in my heart.

Sharon was a good friend over the years. Always smiling, loving, gentle, always made time…no matter what her experience was that day. I recall the first time I met her bright smile and ready to begin training as a scheduler….. she was so happy but what she didn’t know was the impact she made on me . Love Patti
