Sheri Anne Mason, 51
December 14, 2023
Sheri Anne Mason, 51, of Lancaster, passed away from a hard battle with cancer on December 14, 2023. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Karolann (Webb) and the late Jerry Hoeltzle. She was married over 28 years to her husband, Chad C. Mason.
Sheri was a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School. She also received a vocational degree to be a veterinary technician. Sheri was known to be extremely kind and always willing to do anything for others. Sheri used her natural kindness working for Stoner Bunting by providing customer fund raising support. She was also a talented artist and enjoyed drawing, making stained glass, and pottery. Her second home was Florida and she loved taking trips to the beach with her family. An animal lover, she will be missed by her 4-legged companion, Chloe.
In addition to her mother Karolann (spouse Paul Spuck) and husband Chad, she is survived by her son, Garret Mason, siblings: Connie, Stephanie, and Jason, stepmother, Jennifer Hoeltzle, and in-laws Deborah and Gary Mason. She was preceded in passing by her father Jerry, a stillborn son Curtis, and a child lost in utero.
Even after her passing Sheri’s compassion to good will continued. She gave the gift of sight by donating her corneas. Her body was also donated to science as she wished that it may help make the world a better place. If you knew Sheri, we ask that you honor her in your hearts by doing something kind and selfless when you see a need.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.

I miss our morning prayers, chats, lunches and walks.
I am so grateful God brought us back together early this year and gave us the opportunity to rekindle our friendship.
Sheri was a warm, wonderful woman and has always been one of the kindest people I have known – all the way back to grade school!
It has been a privilege to call her friend and sister in Christ. Our family will continue to pray for yours, and while I will miss her, I so look forward to seeing her beautiful, smiling face when we are reunited in the presence of our Lord.
God bless you, my sweet friend. We will see each other again soon. I love you 💝
Sincerest condolences,
Charlene (Baker) Stoudt
