Mr. Troelsch was a wonderful man. I have known him for many many years. When we would see eachother he would always ask me how i was, give me a hug and tell me he loved me. Mr. Troelsch always always saw nothing but good in me when I couldn’t even see it in myself. He was a wonderful father and husband and a man of God. I am saddened to see you go but at peace because I know exactly where you are and belong. Mrs. Troelsch I am so sorry for your loss. Behind every great man is a great woman and you were precisely that for Mr. Troelsch. You will be deeply missed. Mr. Troelsch! Thank you for blessing me with the opportunity to know you. I love you!

I had the pleasure of knowing Steve through both work and Cursillo. At TE, I worked with Steve when he was an IT Manager and then when he was a Finance Manager. He was always someone whose input I trusted. I respected his deep, well thought out knowledge and advice on various issues. I first heard about Cursillo from Steve at a men’s conference several years ago. I kept the information in the back of my head for a number of years until I finally made my Cursillo weekend two years ago. Steve called me first thing Monday morning after the weekend to see how it went and I could tell he was smiling on the other end as I told him my experience. I appreciate his work for the church and miss him already. My sympathies to the family.

I worked with Steve for many years. He reminded me so much of my mother – one of the few true believers who never judged others but led by example. I will always remember our lunchtime discussions about religion; he patiently explained his beliefs and answered my questions about Catholicism while encouraging me to find my own way. Yes, he was as good a financial analyst and systems analyst as one could ask to work with! But that always seemed secondary to his character and integrity.

I worked close to or directly for Steve for most of my 26 years at TE. I could always rely on Steve for his calm and well thought out advice. I have many fond memories working with Steve especially during our trips to Asia for SAP rollouts. I will miss Steve and only hope that I can face my own time with the same faith, courage, strength and dignity that Steve did. May you all have the peace of God which surpasses all understanding.

Sherry and family, my deepest condolensces for Steve’s passing. I can’t put into words what a wonderful man Steve has been and what an awesome witness to he was as a true Catholic gentleman. I was blessed to have served with him on several Cursillo weeeknds and got to have a number of great conversations with him about faith and family and there was no doubt he loved both! His calming manner and supportive words were always there at the right time. I will miss him but I know he is now praying for all of us and there is comfort in that. Eternal rest grant unto him Oh Lord and let Your perpetual light shine upon him. He and all of his family and friends will be in my prayers for comfort at this time. De Colores Steve! Kent Smithmyer

Condolences to Sherry and the family. Steve was a great witness to being a Catholic Christian. His devotion to our Lord and Our Lady was inspirational to so many. He revealed such humble wisdom as a witness to all of us who knew him. A devoted husband and father, who understood the gift of marriage and family. Steve carried his crosses with great faith and acceptance. It is not surprising to me that he passed while saying the glories mysteries of the rosary. Mother Mary was with him. Eternal rest grant unto him Oh Lord and let Your perpetual light shin upon him. I am sure Steve will be interceding for all of us to The Father. John Rossi

I remembered Steve as the first Catholic man I met in the US when I moved in 2014. Steve was very welcoming to me in our team. Over our first team dinner, he asked me about my family and I shared to him that I come from a big family. He smiled and told me he has a big family too and that he is also a Catholic. From then on, I felt comfortable talking to Steve and working with him in several projects. Over the years, we would share family photos to each other. It is with great sadness to hear Steve’s passing, such a humble family man and with deep faith to our God. My deepest symphathy to his family in this difficult time.

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Steve. I was in TMIY where Steve served and played an intergral part by sharing his faith and good cheer with everyone. We all learned from his experiences and keen insight into the Catholic faith. He had a deep and profound love for his family who he spoke of often. Prior to the pandemic when I saw him at the last TMIY session, he shared of his condition and was at peace with God and when he would be called home. While we are all saddened by his loss as we knew him on earth, he is in the company of our Creator, God almighty. Our condolences thoughts and prayers.

I’ve worked with Steve for many years where he has been in inspiration to me. He was someone you could always count on to help, provide advice, or just vent to. He had great compassion and understanding and I will miss him. He was also an inspiration to me regarding his faith…I don’t think I’ve experienced anyone with his level of faith and goodness; he was truly a good person. I’m saddened for the family and friends who will miss him but joyful he is no longer in pain and home with his Heavenly Father.

I am so sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. I worked with Steve at TE Connectivity and his faith and love of God was apparent in how he lived his life every day. He was an honest, hard-working man … he and I used to talk about vacations and how nice it was to be able to get away. As I read Steve’s updates that were passed along during his challenging times, it was evident how much of an inspiration he truly was in how he dealt with his illness by staying positive and thankful. He was a strong and faithful servant. Praying for his family in this difficult time.
