I am saddened by the loss of an old air force friend from Lackland AFB, And again at Forbes AFB. Kansas. I only wish I could have sat and talked with you one more time, you were a real friend.

Lindy, Matthew and Family,
The kind of friendship that has built over the years between our families is rare. It has been the greatest blessing to have Steve such a true friend. Steve always knew how to light up the room with his smile and belly laughs, it was always contagious. The heartache to know that is no longer with us here on earth, becomes a great blessing to know that he continues to watch over us in heaven. May each new day be in honor of him. He is truly missed.
With love,
Frank, Nancy and Lauren

To Lindy and Family,
Steve may have lost the battle with cancer but anyone who has had to fight that battle is a true survivor in every sense of the word. I’m so glad I was able to see and talk with Steve at the Armstrong reunion picnic recently and was so sad to hear of his passing.
May family and friends help to ease your pain, may time heal your sorrow, and may loving memories replace your heartache.

Steve or “Lo” as I knew him was a gentle giving person, a cowboy. Lo took the time to show others his love for cowboy action shooting and last April during a shoot took the time to explain and mentor me. What a privilege it was the know him and greater privilege to spend the last Sunday in oct 2016 as a cowboy beside him. Lo, we will talk more in heaven about all this. Circuit Rider Jeff

Sorry to hear that he rode off into the final sunset. I enjoyed taking care of him with his flying issues and loved discussing our western heroes. He always had a positive attitude —- William Hunt MD
