Susan A. Lecours, 68
February 11, 2018
Susan A. Lecours, 68, of Lancaster and formerly of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018.
She was the wife of Leon J. Lecours, with whom she celebrated 48 years of marriage this past August 30th. Born in Whitefish Bay, WI, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Theresa McNeil Popp.
Sue worked for many years with the Cornwall Lebanon School District. One of the highlights of her career was working at Cedar Crest High School. She loved helping the young people she worked with and always received so much joy when meeting a former student in the community and hearing about their life successes.
Sue loved reading, spending time with friends learning the art of Tai Chi, and walks with her husband around the wooded neighborhood where they lived for 38 years raising their two sons.
In addition to her husband, Leon, she is survived by her two sons: Derek of Lancaster and Kristian married to Maida Lecours of Milpitas, CA; her grandsons Xavier and Xander; and by her siblings: Jean Palme, Margie Zopf, Diane Fedor, and James Popp II. She was preceded in death by her siblings Claudia Domres Gander and Joyce Helsel Short.
Friends will be received on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 10-11AM at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, with the Christian Prayer Service to follow at 11AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Susan’s memory to the Alzheimer‘s Association (www.alz.org) or your local Alzheimer’s Support Group.
Sue was a wonderful loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend to all who knew her.

Love, caring, frustration and perhaps anger give way to mourning. Such a loss.
My condolences.
