Sylvia M. (Heiland) Andrzejewski, 68

Sylvia M. (Heiland) Andrzejewski, 68, of Lancaster, died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Lancaster, she was the wife of Richard A. Andrzejewski of Lancaster, and the daughter of the late Paul and Ellen (Fritz) Heiland.

Sylvia was a woman of many talents. She was an accomplished musician, able to play the organ, flute, and accordion. An artist also, she loved photography and painting.

Sylvia worked for RCA, Hubley’s, Stoner Ink, and the Boutonniere Shop.

In addition to her husband of eight years, she is survived by her children: Jane Drennen of Lancaster; two sons: Harry M. Drennen, Jr. and his wife Wendy of Lancaster, and Dennis C. Drennen, Sr. of Holtwood; 12 step-children; 31 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen R. Andrzejewski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at historic St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 119 S. Prince St., Lancaster with Rev. Leo M. Goodman, III as Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 PM Monday at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St., Millersville. Burial will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
