Teilah Marie Cruz, 23
October 24, 2000 - October 18, 2024
Teilah Marie Cruz, 23, of Manheim, was called into peaceful sleep on Friday, October 18, 2024, awaiting the resurrection of meeting her king, Yahshua (Jesus). Born in Lancaster, PA on October 24, 2000, she was the daughter of Jamie (McClearen) Perez and the late Cameron Cruz who passed away earlier this year.
Teilah was a 2019 Penn Manor High School graduate who also received a Dental Assistant Certificate through LCCTC – Willow Street Campus. Shortly after graduation she welcomed her greatest joy in life, her son, Carter Matos with her fiancé Jeremy Matos. Her world revolved around her faith and family. She spent most of her life helping to raise her siblings.
Her beautiful smile lit up a room, and her laugh was contagious. She was adored by all who knew her. Autumn was Teilah’s favorite time of year with the cooler weather, leaves changing, bonfires, hot chocolate and pumpkin pie. Teilah enjoyed traveling to the beaches of Ocean City, MD, and last year was able to vacation on the beaches of St. Thomas. Recently she traveled to Lake Guntersville, AL with her mother, sister and son to further embrace her faith at the Feast of Tabernacles.
Teilah’s love will live on in her mother Jamie, her fiancé Jeremy, their son Carter, siblings, Charles Wanner III of Goose Creek, SC, Seth Diaz of Manheim, Reagan Murnane of Lancaster, and Frances Antonetti of Manheim, maternal grandparents, Kathleen Roberts, wife of Archie Shelley of Lititz, and Jack McClearen, husband of Carletta of Winchester, VA, paternal grandmother, Marilyn Cruz of Lancaster, close cousins, Evelyn McClearen of Manheim, Katie Rubio of Shippensburg, and many other cousins, aunts, uncles, and family.
Her family invite guests to attend a celebration of her life and to celebrate what would be her 24th birthday, on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543, beginning at 6 PM. Teilah’s family will greet guests from 4 PM – 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Teilah’s memory to First Harvest Ministries, 235 Old Spanish Trail, Waveland, MS 39576.

When I met Teilah I instantly connected with this bright, positive, fun-loving young women who’s smile was infectious. She endured more than most through her young life. I observed her strength to which she drew from her faith. I observed her love for her family…especially Carter. I had the privlege of taking care of Teilah. She made an imprint on my own life & I will never forget her. May you now rest comfortably in peace.
