Teresa M. Robinson Miller, 94

Teresa M. “Terry” Robinson Miller, 94, formerly a long-time resident of Manhattan, New York, passed away peacefully at Moravian Manor in Lititz, PA, on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Born in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ruth (Toulson) Robinson. Teresa was the loving wife of the late well-known artist, Richard K. Miller, who passed in August, 2012.
Following her high school graduation, Teresa traveled with summer-stock theater that engaged in presenting stage productions in the summer for many years, and it was during this time she met and married her husband, Richard. Over time, Teresa received many years of voice training lessons and became an accomplished opera singer. She was best known for singing with the Metropolitan Opera for almost 20 years.
Teresa is survived by three nieces: Valerie Christiansen and her husband Carl of Lancaster, PA; Sharon Martin and her husband Tim of Perkasie, PA; and Loren Granata and her husband Tom of Camino, CA. Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Barbara Robinson (the late Eugene) and several nephews and other family. She was preceded in death by brothers Edward (the late June) and Eugene.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Teresa will be laid to rest with her husband Richard at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Teresa’s memory may be made to St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 East Delp Road, Lancaster, PA 17601.
