Theodore “Ted” Davis Jr., 74
February 11, 2024
Theodore “Ted” Davis Jr., 74, of Lancaster died peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at his home. Born in Montgomery, AL, he was the son of the late Theodore Sr. and Ida B. Watkins Davis. Ted was the loving companion of the late Sandra K. Turner. A hard worker, he dedicated over 35 years of his life to Armstrong Flooring. Ted was a true family man, whether it was family cookouts or simply listening to some Motown while relaxing on the porch, if he was with family, it was a good time. With the biggest heart, he was accepting of everyone he met.
Surviving is a daughter, Tracy L. Turner, five sons, Shannon husband of Melissa Kitch, Theodore T. “Boy” husband of Tara Davis, Tyrone T. Turner, Todd A Lilly, all of Lancaster, and Ted Dotson of, DE. His legacy continues with twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Charles husband of Barb Watkins, of Montgomery, AL. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents and his companion, Sandra, is a great grandson, Jay’Vion Rivera, and a brother, James Watkins.

Condolences to the Family

I send my heartfelt condolances to Ted’s family. I had the pleasure of working along side TD for many years at Armstrong. I will remember Ted for his always cheerful greetings when he would see me and the good times shooting pool with him at his garage while drinking a cold one. He was a good man and he will be missed.
Sincerely,
Allen Adsitt
