Dear Mark, Ed, and Anthony,
We are saddened and mourn the passing of your wonderful and loving Mother. Our deepest sympathy and loving prayers for all of you in the famiiy, as we offer our daily prayers and Masses for the repose of her good soul. What a great and beautiful lady she was! Our gratitude to her and to your Dad is immense, never to be forgotten! For over 20 years they were so solicitous to provide for our wellbeing. Just to name a few examples: Therese organized our special events celebrations; set up our computer mailing data base; provided many delicious meals: gave new mattresses for all the nuns and altered the planks for them; funded our electronic gate at the back entrance of the monastery on Lititz Pike and many more kindnesses; of special mention, their role as our Santa Clauses was so much fun and appeciated. “Blessed arethey who die in the Lord for their works follow them.” May Jesus and Mary and your beloved Ed welcome your soul in paradise!
Rest in peace and joy, Therese! We love you and thank God for you!

Dear Ed, Mark, and Anthony,
My husband Ken and I send you our sincere sympathies on the loss of your mother. She made a glorious moist multi-tiered chocolate on chocolate wedding cake for us in 1979, and it was the talk of our friends and relatives for a long time. I lived two houses down from you in Himes Hill, and you and your mom were good neighbors, decent and quiet and friendly. I remember your mom so fondly. Thank you for sharing her with me for a few years long ago.

I had the privilege of working with Therese many years ago at the Lancaster Campus of HACC, and will always remember her as being dressed to the nines, and incredibly efficient and supportive of all of us who worked with her. I loved how she was eager to learn the latest technology and software–she put us much younger poeple to shame. May her memory sustain her family at this time of mourning.
