(Eckman) Hartenstine of Marticville, PA, and Barbara and Thomas DeChristopher of York, PA, and girlfriend Hayden Moyer as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mr. And Mrs Hartenstein
We had only met Tom one time when he joined us for dinner with Hayden. He was a very respectable and pleasant young man and very enjoyable to talk to. We were so happy Hayden had met such a nice guy and that they seemed extremely happy together. We can’t imagine the heart ache you are all going thru at this sad time. Please know your family is in our thoughts and prayers . With sympathy Hayden’s aunt. And uncle Donna and Earl Huyett

I remember Thomas at 2 years of age being placed within his car seat in the back of the Jeep Willies with many of us as we venture out on the trails. The trails would most times rock him asleep as Mom in the passenger seat was reading a book, as Dad ventured his way forward. As we finished the day we made our way back to camp to call it a day. We looked over the vehicles to asses any problems for the nest day as the Mom’s would gather up the children and begin preparring dinner. Once the vehocles were assed the men came in to provide any help needed once the camp fire was started. Well, the aromas from serveral campfires was in the air as everyone was enjoying and sharing their bounty with others before gathering for the eveing around the campfire. This was the time that Thomas would seem to come to life (from 2 yrs. of age until 12 yrs. of age) as he was the most respectful young boy addressing everyone within the camp as Mister of Misses and he remembered names really well. Then his smile would just brighten your day when he and his brother got their fishing rods to check out the pond at the Red Ridge Campground. Then after that they would return to enjoy the campfire “moon-pies” that Mom & Dad would allow them to make with proper supervision. After some years I lost touch with the family but I always new Thomas was raised with good parenting and would succeed at anything he chose to do in his future. It’s a tragic loss for the family and my heart felt condolences goes out to each and every one of them during this troubling time. Rick A Bear
