Thomas F. Miles, 91

Thomas F. Miles, 91, of 300 Willow Valley Lakes Dr., Willow Street died Wednesday at Lancaster General Hospital. 

Mr. Miles worked in warehousing for Seagram Industries and for 25 years at Capital Distribution which he retired from in 1974. 

A member of the Downingtown VFW Post #845, he attended St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church and enjoyed playing golf.  He was a veteran of WWII, where he served in the Navy as a Weapons Tech 2^nd Class, in the South Pacific Campaign on a combat cargo ship AKA-226. 

Born in Brooklyn, New York Thomas was the son of the late Frank and Agnes M. O’Connell Miles.  He was married to Elizabeth Vance Miles who died in 2003 and previously, to the late Agnes Lynch Miles. 

Surviving is a cousin, Jean married to William Weber of New York and several nieces and nephews. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster on Monday at 10:00am.  Interment in Willow Street United Church of Christ Cemetery.
