Thomas “Tom” Flemon Webb, 51

June 30, 2023

Thomas “Tom” Flemon Webb, 51, of Lititz passed away Friday, June 30, 2023. Tom was a talented drummer, a wonderful husband to his wife Jennifer Nice Webb, and a father who was adored by his daughters Ella Leigh Schnoor and Gabrielle Joy Putt. He was a magical son to his parents, Bryant and Judy Webb and the beloved only brother to his sister Sherri Webb Kimmel and her husband Martin.

Tom was a gentle soul and kind to all he knew. If you are a live music fan, you might well have seen him play at festivals and nightspots around the region. He was known in the music community as twsecondline, which was a reflection of his deep love of New Orleans music.

Tom is also loved and will be deeply missed by his niece Bailey and her husband Nate, his nephews Webb, Peyton and Colin as well as his sister-in-law Deborah and brother-in-law Paul.

Please join us to celebrate Tom Webb’s life on Saturday, August 5th. We will be receiving visitors starting at 11:00 AM at the Lititz Rec Center, 301 Maple Street, Lititz, PA. The service will begin at noon.

Following the service, you are welcome to join the Second Line funeral procession from the Rec Center to Lititz Springs Park (approximately a quarter mile walk). We will be serving lunch at the large pavilion next to the band shell. From 1:00-5:00, some of Tom’s recent bands will be performing, with an opportunity for any musician that wants to, to sit in and play.

Dress comfortably and stay as long as you’d like. We hope to see you there to share friendship, love and music in honor of Tom Webb. 💕

It’s taken a while to absorb this – I on my foubd out Tom passed , on the day of my sister’s funeral. I knew Tom since 1994- and he played drums for my band in two different incarnations. Tom was the among the most dedicated, talented, and wonderful musicians I have ever worked with. He was always a friend and bright light. Tom was universally loved by everyone he touched. His smile could light up a room. My deepest condolences to his family.  Sherry Salzman

Yes, Tom was a fantastic drummer, a wonderful man and a sterling Physical Therapist Assistant. I hired him at Kauffman Physical Therapy and he was skilled at the highest level and was always a team player. He was loved by all of the patients and all of us. Your loss is our loss and a loss in this world.
We have all of you in our thoughts and pray that you cherish the memories as we do. Our best regards to all of you.

I came to know Tom when he and I took drum lessons from the same teacher thirty years ago.  I immediately liked him.  Over the years we would bump in to each other and play catch up.  I was always happy to see him and it was always good.  A kind and gentle soul indeed.  I would tell him how much I enjoyed his musical ability and he was gracious and humble, willing to share ideas.  We could all use a few more Tom Webbs in our lives.
I’m stunned by this devastating news.  Any words of consolation seem inadequate.  Suddenly our world is a lesser place without him.  Godspeed Tom.  You are dearly missed.

Heartbreaking news. We were in homeroom together in junior high & high school, and I was in orchestra where he played the drums with the band. Haven’t seen him in over 30 years, but still saddened and shocked to see he’s passed on. My condolences to his entire family.  K. Kyle
