Timothy E. Wagner, 59
June 21, 2018
Timothy Eugene Wagner, 59, of Lancaster lost his battle with cancer and earned his angel wings on Thursday, June 21, 2018.
Born in Lancaster, Tim was the son of Donna (Burd) Hummer, wife of William, and the late Robert Wagner. He was the loving husband of Cheri (Nixdorf) Wagner, with whom he celebrated 38 years of marriage.
Graduating high school in 1976, he worked for Kerr Glass, Comar Productions and MXL Industries before purchasing and operating The Fulton Bar from 1989 to 2003. After hanging up his bar towel, he purchased Rental World, where he hoisted tables and chairs and washed enough dishes to last a lifetime. His employees were always like his extended family.
Tim was a longtime member of the CTA, Lancaster Elks Lodge 134, Germanian Band Club and was a recent member of the Riverside Club. Tim enjoyed karate and later was involved with the YMCA, power lifting, and helped with the Special Olympics. He also learned how to scuba dive. He enjoyed going to the Outer Banks, NC several times a year, he cherished spending Christmas with his grandsons, playing Santa, and passed his time Saturday evenings listening to music on the patio at the Riverside, but most of all, he enjoyed playing mega-touch at Stubby’s.
In addition to his wife, Tim is survived by two wonderful daughters: Michelle Eakman, wife of Brent and Meredith Wagner, fiancé of Matthew Gelwicks; two grandsons Mason (BO) and Bryce (BB); four brothers Donald, Michael, Steve and Brian; and three step sisters LuAnn, Debbie, and Barb. He was preceded in death by his step brother Robert.
Memorial Services for Tim will be held at 11:30AM, Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 9:30 to 11:30AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tim’s memory may be made to Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604 or to Speranza Animal Rescue at SperanzaRescue.org.

Cheri so sorry for all of our loss of Tim. I so enjoyed working for him. He was a very wonderful person who always had time to listen to anyone. His family and his “girls” meant everything to him. We lost a wonderful person, but God truly got an angel!
