I never had the pleasure of meeting your son but his picture captured my attention. My family suffered the same tragic loss of my beautiful niece on May 26, 2017. I will pray for your family, for comfort, strength and eventually healing and joy. We are coping with a strong faith which guides us. Take your time and grieve. I often talked to Troy about college classes and dogs at the end of the night before heading home from Universal. I looked forward to chatting with him. My heart is breaking for you right now. I was absolutely stunned to see the passing of your dear son. I can only imagine the pain. Both of my guys happen to be home this morning (rare, since both live out of state now) when we saw the obituary. We fondly remembered the days when we visited you and your boys on Butter Rd. The memories of our litttle boys hoisting big rocks to build dams at the creek behind your house is a fond memory we will always have of Troy. 
Even though our paths don’t cross often any more, you are a forever friend. I’m carrying you in my heart today and for the coming weeks.
