Tyler D. Stewart, 52
December 03, 2022
Tyler D. Stewart, 52, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born in West Grove, PA he was the son of the late Clifford Leon Stewart Sr. and Antoinette (Dixon) Stewart.
Tyler was an avid sports fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers, Penn State and the 76ers. He also enjoyed fishing, racing RC remote control cars, listening to hip-hop and R & B music.
Tyler had a strong love for his family and loved spending time with his grandkids. He cherished spending time with his mother and assuring she was well taken care of. He loved having conversations that ended with deep belly laughs, had a contagious smile and you would rarely see a frown on his face. He was a very humble man and a peacemaker. He embraced everyone with a welcoming spirit. Everyone enjoyed being around him because of his comforting soul. He was a sacrificial giver willing to give the coat off his back.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by four children, Andraya, Ebony, Senise and Onye Stewart all of Lancaster and nine grandchildren, Tiara, Kissaan, Tyla, Tahj, Major, Alayah, Nyree, Omari, and Josaan. Also surviving are siblings, Clifford L. Stewart Jr, William L. Stewart, Heather M. Stewart, Charles Williams Jr, his loving companion, Stephanie Thomas, a gang of nieces and nephews he loved on as his own and a host of loving extended family and friends.

My name is Jonathan Gring or “Gringo” to those who knew me in SCI-Mercer. I was very close friends with “TY” and every word uttered about his character and beliefs as well as his energy is 100 percent the truth. “TY” was always able to keep everyone calmer when those lucky enough to have encountered him did. RIP “TY” PS: I would like to meet some of his family to talk if possible.
