I will miss my friend Viv, who was a calm voice of reason, encouragement and reassurance while we studied at UWI, Mona and lived on Taylor Hall. Her joyful, lively, friendly Tayloria spirit has lived on with her throughout the years. I will miss my friend for her caring ways: always calling, even from her sick bed, to check how things were going and how I was doing. I will miss our talks and walks down memory lane filled with fun and laughter. I will miss her sharing her deep, abiding faith and hope. I will miss Viv, but I will always cherish her and the friendship we shared. I extend condolences to her daughter Jo – who has been a blessing in Viv’s life and world – and to the other members of her famly. May Viv now rest in eternal peace. – Huntley Medley

My dearest cousin, my deepest condolences. I pray you will still feel her vibrant presence each day as if she’s still here with us. She will be greatly missed. I know she’d rather for us to rejoice in the time that we had to spend with her but as humans it’s only natural for us to mourn. I will never forget hearing her say “hey roch” while greeting me with the widest smile and the warmest hug. Jojo! As your moms twin, I will never forget her face. Keep strong baby girl and know we are here for you and love you dearly.

My deepest condolences to Joane and the entire family on the passing of Viviene/Hopie, your Mother, sister, cousin and just simply a beautiful soul. You were truly a wonderful, humble, gentle gem of a person who reflected love and sincerity. We journeyed on  a similar childhood paths, in Church, Sunday School, Anglican Youth Fellowship as we tried to navigate the Christian pathway and the best of our youth. You were an example of good virtues, your candle burned and offered its light to many. That light now lives on and does not only allow shadows to be formed but illuminate a pathway for others to be able find hope in life in an otherwise dark world. Sleep well my cousin, my friend and sister in Christ. God Bless you.
