Been a while dad. I remember going to Eagles games at the age of 7 and sitting in the 700 level at the Vet. Our day was getting there early an going to the Italian bakeries near 1102  Jackson street. We would get tomato pie for breakfast and then get ready for the game. That meant Oregan avenue, getting Italian water ice and some hoagies to bring into the vet back when they let you do that. You would have a radio with a one ear bud and listen to Merill REeces call the games. We move to Rhode Island and we kept those seats, we would drive down game day to watch the birds play. Dad they won a Super bowl. They won and they beat the Pats with a backup QB. Thanks for all the great memories, I wanted you to know our EAGLES are chamoa. Mom is doing well and Craig is doing amazing .

My condolences and prayers to the McKaige family on this loss. I was sponsored by this great gentlemen and his dearly loved wife Bonnie back in the 80s in an orphanage in Mexico. After getting a scholarship to attend Junior College in Arizona and finishing my studies at St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida, I had the great opportunity to be invated to their home in West Chester in the summer of 91 where I met his sons Nick and Craig and have pictures of that time. Even my Eagles T-Shirt that he gave me.god bless the whole family!! Alfredo Hernandez

My condolences to the McKaige family on your loss.I  knew Walt from the old neighborhood when he lived at 11th and Jackson in South Philly. We went into the Marine Corps together and survived Parris Island boot camp  and went to NAS  Willow Grov for our service. He was a stand up  guy with a great sense of humor. I am saddened by his death. Henry Quartullo

Dear Bonnie, Craig, Nick,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Steve Weisser and family

At a time like this it’s hard to find the words.  Uncle Walt was as close to a father as I will ever have. My condolences to you Aunt Bonnie, Nick and Craig.  I will always strive to teach my children the the things that he taught me, patience, love, selflessness, and honesty, to name a few.  He will be sorely missed in the days and years to come.

God Bless you Uncle Walt, I’m glad I got the chance to tell you that I love you.
