Mr. Pfeiffer will always be the teacher that I will never forget. He was a gentle, caring man. He always made it easy for you to talk to him. He put forth the effort to make you feel important, and he always LISTENED to what you had to say. His passing fills me with sadness. Carol, and family, please accept my condolences. Hugs to all and remember the good times.

It is with saddness I noted the passing of Walt Pfeiffer. We worked together at Food Fair at Lancaster Shopping Center in the early 1960’s while we were both pursuing studies at Millersville State College. Our paths crossed only once or twice since that time but I was always amazed at the ease with which he performed seemingly difficult tasks and excelled at all of them. At a distance I admired his work as a school administrator. Rest in Peace and sincerest condolences to the family.

I am so sorry I will not be able to attend the services but your family will be in my thoughts. I was in Walt’s biology class over 50 years ago and looking back on it now, I realize this must have been in the beginning of his career. He made teaching look easy and I could always tell that he loved what he was doing. A true credit to his profession, he was a well respected, standout member of the faculty at Cocalico and will always be remembered for his exceptional skills as an educator. He made a difference and we are all richer for having crossed paths with him!

Walt was a friend of mine when we worked at Maple Grove swimming pool. He, Merle Schnee and I double dated during our teen years. I still have a picture of him at my 16th birthday party. Even though I don’t know his family I just wanted you to know how sorry I am for your loss!🥲

To Marc pfeiffer and family,
I want to express my sympathy over your dad’s passing and recall you and cousin Matt hanging out with me sometimes. Now that I’m 84 I guess I won’t be picking and singing too much longer on those German tunes! Be well and stop by when you’re in the area. Sincerely,
Fred Bender.
