Wanda R. Urban, 83
March 27, 2025
The family of Wanda R. Urban wish to announce her passing on March 27, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness. She was 83. Born in Talmage, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Louetta Landis. She shared over 39 years of marriage and memories with Robert G. Urban Sr. of Lititz.
Wanda had an affinity for antique cars, as many will fondly remember her attending and selling classic car parts at local flea markets and owning a few of her favorite cars. When she wasn’t driving in her classic car, she was a beloved bus driver for Manheim Township School District and local private schools for more than 23 years. She adopted the kids on her bus as her own and treasured her countless journeys in bus #50. She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed camping, and caring for the countless outdoor cats she and Bob acquired together.
She will be sorely missed by her husband Bob, children, Christine Lober (Troy) of New Holland, Connie Horst of Ephrata, Howard Good of New Holland, Robert Urban Jr. (Shirley) of Quarryville, and Jodie Witman (Bill) of Elizabethtown, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and siblings, Barry Landis, Kay Scheid, and Sandy Martin. She was preceded in passing by a brother, John R. Landis.
A Memorial Service honoring Wanda will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543, beginning at 11 AM. The family will receive guests from 10 AM until the service. Please omit flowers and make memorial contributions in Wanda’s name to Hospice & Community Care. To honor Wanda, guests are asked to drive their antique classic cars to her memorial service.

Dear Bob and Urban Family,
Please know I am thinking of you and praying for all of you during this difficult time in your life.
I had the privilege to work with Wanda. During stand by activity, Wanda would share stories of cars and the crazy things Bob would do working around the house. Wanda was the kind of person who made you feel welcome! She beamed with pride talking about her cars and family. I would always leave our conversations with a smile. She was an amazing woman who lived her life fully. I will treasure her memories and every time I see the number 50 (her bus number), I will smile. God speed # 50. Never forgotten. Rest in Peace,
Dennis Quinn

Our deepest sympathy to Bob and the entire family. Wanda was such a joy to know. She had a zest for life that affected everyone she came in contact with. She could always make you laugh. She always amazed me with the amount of energy she had. She was always on the go because she enjoyed her family and hobbies to the fullest. We always looked forward to our Sunday breakfast outings with Wanda and the family. They were treasured moments that added value to our lives. Fred and I are so shocked and sad but know that God will protect her and guide her on her journey until we meet again. We pray that Jesus grants Bob peace and strength in the coming days to get through this deep loss.
