Ward Bruce “Wes” Shaw, 84

Ward Bruce Shaw (Wes), 84, of Lititz, PA, passed away on March 2, 2018 at Landis Homes. Born in Monroe, NC, he was the son of the late Wesley & Avis (Strawn) Shaw. Ward was the loving husband to Jeanette E. (Ewart) Shaw.
Ward was a veteran and served in the US Navy during the Korean War. Ward worked as Director of Quality Control with Cigna Insurance Company for 34 years. The legacy he was most proud of was that of his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Jeanette, are 3 daughters: Terrie Brooks, wife of Richard, of Lancaster, PA, Laura M. Shaw-Porter, wife of Tom, of Elverson, PA, and Julie Shaw Perillo, wife of Joe, of Feasterville, PA; 7 grandchildren: Ashley Kreider, wife of Mitch, Kristen Steedle, wife of Travis, Lauren & Sara Brooks, Emilia, Madeline, Sophia & Anna Perillo; 2 great-grandsons: Luke Kreider & Dylan Steedle; a sister, Janis Misenheimer of Monroe, NC; 2 sisters-n-law, Mary Shaw and Sandy Shaw, both of Monroe, NC; many nieces & nephews.
Ward was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Ed & Bobby Shaw.
Friends will be received from 2-3 PM with a Memorial Service to begin at 3 PM on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the West Bethany Chapel, Landis Homes, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, PA 17543. Interment is private and at the convenience of the family at Conestoga Memorial Park.
