Zachary Connor Stefanick, 19
July 14, 2024
Zach Stefanick, 19, of Lititz passed away Sunday, July 14th at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Philadelphia, surrounded by his loving family after succumbing to his injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. Born in Lancaster, Zach was the son of Derek Stefanick & Melissa Strubel (step-mom) and Christina Stefanick & David Philips (step-dad). He graduated from Warwick High School, class of 2023. After high school, Zach went on to work for his father’s company, AMZ Property Services, where he quickly proved himself to be a strong leader and hard worker, earning his role of Lead Demo Technician.
Zach loved a thrill in any way possible, always seeking adventure; whether freestyling bmx or riding mountain bikes. He enjoyed family vacations to the beach, trips to amusement parks, waterparks and geo cashing. He enjoyed the finer foods in life including Frank’s hot sauce, ranch, mac & cheese.
Starting from when he was a toddler Zach was happy and fun loving. His imagination and adventurous spirit would always make the best out of anything he was doing. As he grew up Zach had a love for the outdoors where he enjoyed time hunting, fishing and kayaking. A different kind of rush came from trading in the stock market which he gained interest in after some successful investments. In addition, he also enjoyed gaming, spending time with his dogs and had a big interest in sharks. But above all else, Zach had a passion for motorcycles and that’s what he loved the most. Getting out to ride was his ultimate freedom and brought so much joy to him.
He was a great friend and had a generous spirit. Zach never asked for anything and always gave everything, including a watchful eye over his little sister. He took great pride in being Carissa’s older brother; their bond was inseparable. Zach’s kindness spoke volumes and will forever be remembered by those who were touched by him in his very short time here on earth.
Surviving in addition to his parents are siblings, Autumn, Carissa, Aaron, Haley, his paternal grandfather, George Stefanick, maternal great grandmother, Grace “Mimi” Burkholder, his extra grandparents Tom & Esther Robinson, his best friend Eric Ay, and his girlfriend, Taelynn Cardona. Zach was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and paternal grandmother.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Zach’s Celebration of Life at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA 17543, on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at 3:00. There will be a time of visitation from 1:30 PM until the time of service. In Zach’s memory do an act of kindness in remembrance of him.

Wish no parent or family ever had to go through this pain. I know there are so many wonderful children/young adults in heaven. My son also passed away at almost 18. I can only hope that they have all found each other and are having fun together. Praying for you and your family.

He is a great tree cutted short in its tender age, one can only imagine the pain the family had to endure.
We have a proverb in our Fante language that goes like ” What death have a hold on, life can never pull back”. My heart is with you the family. May you be consoled by the peace in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Rest Well Brother.

The pain is indescribable. And like a few others who shared in their condolences of losing a child, I have as well and we’re all here for you when you’re ready. I pray over you and your family- because Jesus is the only one who understands this pain more than all of us- and His comfort to our heart is real. I’m so so sorry you are suffering through this. I hope our love and prayers are known to your broken heart.
