Lois Jane Bowman, 96, of Lancaster passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025, at her residence. Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret Elizabeth Redinger Dowhower. Lois was the loving wife of the late Donald S. Bowman and they shared 63 years of marriage before his passing in 2014. She proudly graduated from Lebanon High School before becoming a homemaker and caring for her family. Lois was an active long-time member of First Reformed United Church of Christ, Lancaster and was involved in her daughters’ scout groups in their earlier years. She had a passion for both tennis and golf and played well into her 80’s. Her craftiness showed through her talent in calligraphy and her famous chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting will be forever remembered by those who enjoyed it. More than anything, Lois was a loving wife, mom, grandmother and great grandmother who could be found cheering her family at any event, near or far.

Marvin Keith Brubaker, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, went home to be with the Lord on June 11, 2025, at the age of 66. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Marvin and Violet (Druck) Brubaker.

Marvin was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Believing in His love and forgiveness. Marvin was a member of Highpoint Community Church where he shared not only the love of Jesus Christ, but his love for worshiping the Lord through playing the drums, on the worship team for a small time. Marvin's passion for music and playing the drums didn't just stay within the church. Marvin's passion continued at home where he would practice as much as he could for 45 years when he was able to. Marvin's passion for music also filled the house not just through playing the drums, but with each room having Christian Rock or Contemporary Christian music playing including one of his favorite bands being Stryper.

Anna Marie “Annie” Shaub, 98, of Lancaster, died peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Trillium Place, Lancaster. Born in Frankstown, Pa she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Dorothy Barroner Bouslough. Anna was the loving wife of Melvin H. Shaub who died in 2005. She was a faithful member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd where she loved singing the hymns. Anna graduated from the former Dickinson Junior College and later began her career as a Medical Secretary Technician in the Cardiology department at Lancaster General Hospital where she retired from in 1982. She had a love of the beach, especially Stone Harbor and Avalon New Jersey. Swimming was a passion of Anna’s and she also took great joy in playing cards. Volunteering in the church office and helping to deliver Meals on Wheels with friends quickly became favorite post-retirement activities as well.
